Dear Friends,

12What a treat it’s been to finally have some warm temperatures lately! We’re getting ready for a busy summer here and are looking forward to being your urban getaway when you can’t make it to the beach. Also in the spirit of summer: many of you may remember enjoying my home-grown Jersey tomatoes in the restaurant last year. I planted my garden this weekend, so you can also anticipate delicious heirlooms, cherries, and vine-ripes, plus the zucchini, peppers, and basil that will all make their way on to your plates.Become a fan!)Wednesdays continue to be a success, thanks to the popularity of our Lobster Meatballs, which were recently written up by Urban Daddy. Our lobster roll also got a recent mention in the May issue of Self magazine as one of actress Lauren Graham’s favorites. A new cocktail addition we’re excited about for summer is our Spiked Palmer, our classic muddled lemonade and iced tea with Snow Queen vodka and fresh mint. And as summer finally settles in, get ready for one of our warm weather favorites: chilled lobster bisque with parmesan crouton. I look forward to seeing you soon!We are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Please check our website for hours of operation. And just a reminder that we do take reservations for parties of six or more. In addition, if you are interested in private parties, catering, or private cooking lessons, please call us at 212-343-3236.

If you haven’t visited us in the past few weeks, we have several new additions to our specials. Bacon-wrapped oysters dredged and fried are delightful with tartar as an appetizer every day, and our new Thursday special is $28 pound and one-half lobsters. Those of you who have joined our following on Facebook know about our Facebook-exclusive LOBSTER FEST, which will continue along with new lunch-only promotions for our Facebook fans. (
