I hope some of you made it out to the New York Food & Wine Festival this weekend. I had a great time, starting with Saturday when I once again got to join Toni Senecal (this time as a festival correspondent) and film what will be part of next weekend’s TONI ON! NEW YORK, which airs Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sunday at 11:30am on WPIX Channel 11. I’m usually a little too frank to do any serious schmoozing, but I managed to get myself, a mic, and the camera man up close and personal with some big names in the industry – and had a lot of fun tasting some really excellent creations along the way. Serving up lobster rolls in the Grand Tasting on Sunday kept us busy, but it’s always a pleasure to be around so many food-loving people. We’re all looking forward to seeing more new faces in the restaurant soon!
